Saturday, November 4th will be CTK’s first church wide Day of Blessing where groups will scatter out into Braselton and its surrounding areas and serve individuals and organizations in need. Participants will meet at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church (4675 Winder Hwy, Flowery Branch) at 8am for muffins, coffee, and prayer before dispersing to their assigned locations to serve from about 9am-noon. Ready to volunteer for our Day of Blessing?
Below is a list of the places and ways that the people of Christ the King will be serving on our Day of Blessing:

- South Hall Community Food Pantry: This is an opportunity to serve by helping with maintenance at the South Hall Community Food Pantry. This opportunity is OUTDOORS and will require a MODERATE amount of physical activity.
- Street Impact: This is an opportunity to participate in a landscaping project at a home where a wheelchair ramp has been recently built through Street Impact Ministries. This opportunity will be OUTDOORS and will require a MODERATE amount of physical activity.
- Oaks at Braselton: This is an opportunity to provide the women of the Oaks at Braselton Senior Living with manicures. This opportunity will be INDOORS and will require a MILD amount of physical activity.
- Promise 686: This is an opportunity to prepare food (Cook-a-thon) for Promise 686 families. This opportunity will be INDOORS at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church and will require a MILD amount of physical activity.
- The Phoenix at Braselton: This is an opportunity to play games and visit with residents at the Phoenix at Braselton Senior Living Community. It is reserved for FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. This opportunity will be INDOORS and will require a MILD amount of physical activity.
- Mission to North America Disaster Response: This is an opportunity to assemble school supply buckets with Mission to North America Disaster Response. It is reserved for FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. This opportunity will be INDOORS at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church and will require a MILD amount of physical activity.
- Eagle Ranch: This is an opportunity to help with the horse barn and track at Eagle Ranch. This opportunity will be OUTDOORS and will require a MODERATE amount of physical activity.

- Braselton Community Clean Up: This is an opportunity to participate in the Braselton Community Clean Up Week by participating in the downtown Braselton trash clean up. This opportunity will be OUTDOORS and will require a MILD TO MODERATE amount of physical activity.
- Pastor Buck’s Office: This is an opportunity to serve by helping to move Pastor Buck’s office from Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church back to his home. This opportunity will be both INDOORS and OUTDOORS and will require a MILD TO MODERATE amount of physical activity.
The following opportunities are available on dates that do not coincide with our Day of Blessing. - Family Promise: This is an opportunity to clean out existing flower beds and plant new seasonal flowers at Family Promise (3606 McEver Road). The needed date is November 3rd and the time is flexible.
