Cultivating a Community of Disciples that Abide in Christ the King
WELCOME!
We are delighted that you have visited our website and want to learn more about Christ the King! Our church started in early 2020 and officially launched in April 2021. We are a community seeking to follow Jesus together with a hope that He will bring rest, rejoicing and reconciliation to Braselton and its surrounding areas. Exploring this site will give you a good idea of what Christ the King is all about, so please check it out and feel free to reach out with any questions. We hope that you will come and visit us in person soon!

CTK WEEKLY MORNING PRAYER
All are invited to join us for prayer every Wednesday morning from 7-7:30AM.
EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY INTEREST LUNCH
CTK wants to learn from our young adults community (college, young singles, and young marrieds) about how we can better serve and care for them. All folks in that age range are invited to a lunch at Buck and Katelyn’s house on Sunday, December 10th to learn more and discuss our future ministry to that growing community in our church. CLICK HERE to RSVP today!
WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Women of CTK, save the date and invite a friend! Monday, December 11, from 7-9 pm, we’ll ring in the holidays together at The Reunion Meeting House (5615 Grand Reunion Drive, Hoschton). Last names A-L are invited to bring something sweet to share and last names M-Z, something salty. Also, don’t forget a wrapped ornament for our ornament exchange. You can RSVP HERE today! We hope to see you (and a friend or two) there!
CHRISTMAS EVE
This year Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday! We will have one worship service that day which will begin at 5pm and will include our traditional Christmas Eve candle lighting. We hope that all of you will enjoy the morning off and consider inviting family and friends to this special evening service! We also will continue in our tradition of sharing Christmas cookies with one another as we fellowship together in the lobby after the service. If you would be interested in bringing cookies to share, please reach out to Kelly at kclark@ctkbraselton.org or sign up at the GotQuestions table in the lobby this Sunday.
SCATTERED WORSHIP
On Sunday, December 31, we are unable to reserve our usual location at The Venue for Sunday morning worship. Instead, we are excited to participate in Scattered Worship in various homes throughout our church community. All Scattered Worship services will begin at our usual 10:30AM time. We invite you to CLICK HERE to find a location near you and reach out to group contacts with any questions. If possible, please RSVP HERE by December 28th so that our hosts are able to plan.
WOMEN’S RETREAT
Join us for an unforgettable weekend in the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia Friday 3pm through Sunday morning, February 23-25, 2024. Space is limited to 34, so you’ll want to register early! For more information and to register, CLICK HERE! Questions? Reach out to Lorrie at lderinger@ctkbraselton.org.
YOUTH GROUP
Our Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm at the Townsend’s house and we would love for all middle and high school students to join us! Questions? Email Armando at abecerra@ctkbraselton.org or CLICK HERE to join the Youth Parent/Guardian Group on our Church Center app.
SMALL GROUPS AT CTK
At CTK, we participate in 2 different types of small groups. Community Groups are mid-sized groups that are geographically based. These groups meet regularly to provide a way for new folks to meet the CTK community, to discuss the Bible, and to serve in the local community. You can CLICK HERE to see our current Community Groups and contact group leaders if you are interested in attending. Discipleship Groups are smaller groups, usually 5-8 people of the same gender, who meet for the purpose of following Jesus together and are a year-long commitment. These groups are focused on memorizing scripture, developing abiding practices, accountability, prayer, and learning how to share your faith. If you’d like to learn more about either of these types of groups, CLICK HERE or email our Discipleship Directors Lorrie (lderinger@ctkbraselton.org) or Mark (mlanders@ctkbrasetlon.org).
VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
There are always many opportunities to volunteer at CTK. We believe that volunteering is not only a great way to serve the church, but also a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and community. Whether you are setting up chairs together, serving coffee and delights alongside a friend, or having great conversation as you rock babies in the nursery, some of the most encouraging friendships in our church have been formed as our people have served alongside each other. If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to have you! Please simply complete our Volunteer Survey so we know what you are interested in, and a staff member or ministry lead will contact you as needs arise.
