ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPCOMING EVENTS

We are grateful to worship one more time at the Braselton Civic Center on Sunday, April 27th. Beginning in May, we will return to The Venue at Friendship Springs full time.

20% Off Sale in the CTK Online Store! April is a great time to grab a CTK tshirt, sweatshirt, hoodie or jacket with 20% off EVERYTHING through April 30, 2025. Simply use code CTK20 at checkout. Visit our online store HERE.

Sunday, May 4th is our next Kids of the King Sunday! During these special services, we join in worship with our children ages 4 and up in an effort to be together as one church family, allow our children to experience and participate in our worship service, and consider what it means for all of us to have a childlike faith in Jesus. Please note that the nursery will be available for children ages 3 and under only.

Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Praying Life Seminar on May 16th and 17th and you are invited! This is not a session on how to pray (although you will learn about that) but a seminar on deepening your relationship with Jesus, becoming a person who loves others like Jesus does, and developing an approach to prayer where you engage with the stories God is writing. We are so excited about this event and hope many of you will consider attending! Click HERE to register and for more info.

New(ish) to CTK? Hoping to dive in more to our community, meet CTK leaders, or learn a little bit about who we are? Join us for our next Discovery Lunch Sunday, May 18th immediately following our worship service at The Venue. The Discovery Lunch is the first part of our 2 part Discovery Track. You can learn more and RSVP by clicking HERE. Questions? Reach out to Grace at gfarr@ctkbraselton.org.

The Guatemala Mission Team is collecting new & gently used items: underwear & socks, children’s clothing & shoes, towels, twin & full sheet sets, shampoo, small children’s toys including jump ropes, soccer balls, dry erase boards & markers, small stuffed animals, crayons, books, & chalk. If you have a large suitcase we can take with us to deliver these items that would also be great. We typically leave the suitcases in Guatemala. Please bring any items you would like to donate to church on May 18.

“Jesus declares not that he has come to reform religion but that he’s here to end religion and to replace it with himself.” (Tim Keller, The King’s Cross)
