ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPCOMING EVENTS

Sunday, August 31st is our next Kids of the King Sunday! During these special services, we join in worship with our children ages 4 and up in an effort to be together as one church family, allow our children to experience and participate in our worship service, and consider what it means for all of us to have a childlike faith in Jesus. Please note that the nursery will be available for children ages 3 and under only.!

Women & the Word meets the first Wednesday of each month for a time of study and fellowship at Teresa Bishop’s house. Our next meeting will be September 3rd. If you aren’t yet involved in a D-Group, this is an especially great way for you to plug in and get to know the women of CTK. We hope you will join us!

We are so excited for our small groups to relaunch for our 2025-2026 ministry year after Labor Day! Our mission is to cultivate a community of disciples that abide in Christ our King. Jesus teaches us to abide in him as a branch abides in the vine. At CTK, Small Groups (both Discipleship and Community Groups) are two of the major trellises on which we grow as a community abiding in Jesus. If you are interested in joining our small group ministry this fall for the first time, we invite you to CLICK HERE where you can learn more and submit interest forms for our various groups..

Hospitality Team Kick-Off, Sunday, Sept 7, 2025. Join us immediately after church for a light lunch as we share opportunities to serve with our Hospitality Team. Whether you love to meet new people or prefer serving behind the scenes, we have a place for you! Please RSVP HERE to help us plan. Thank you!

New(ish) to CTK? Hoping to dive in more to our community, meet CTK leaders, or learn a little bit about who we are? “Jesus declares not that he has come to reform religion but that he’s here to end religion and to replace it with himself.” (Tim Keller, The King’s Cross)
