Creating a Community of Disciples that Abide in Christ the King
WELCOME!
We are delighted that you have visited our website and want to learn more about Christ the King! Our church plant started in early 2020 and began our launch season in April 2021. Church planting is the way new churches begin, and a launch season is the time in which the church becomes more and more public in its worship and work. This means that Christ the King might be a little different from church experiences you’ve encountered in the past. Exploring this site will give you a good idea of what Christ the King is all about, so please check it out and feel free to reach out with any questions. We hope that you will come and visit us in person soon!

EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
YOUTH GROUP
Middle and high school students are invited to join us for Youth Group every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm at the Townsends’. There will be food and lots of fun! For questions including an address please email youth@ctkbraselton.org.
PALM SUNDAY SERVICE
On April 2nd, our children will participate in a special Palm Sunday service. During the last song of the service, they will parade through the sanctuary waving palm branches. The children’s discipleship leaders will walk with them and return them to parents at the back of the sanctuary at the end of the service. Please be looking for an email from Lori Wreyford with more details about this special morning!
PARTYcularization SERVICE & LUNCH
On Sunday, April 16th, we will hold our Particularization Service where we will officially become a church of the PCA and install our lead pastor and elected elders! Afterwards, we will have a PARTYcularization lunch together in the auditorium. This is a day we’ve been praying about as a church for such a long time and we are so excited to celebrate. Please mark your calendars and invite your friends and neighbors to join us on this special day!
DISCOVERY CLASS
If you are considering membership at CTK or simply want to learn more about who we are, our next Discovery Class will be on Saturday, April 22 from 9am-2pm at Buck & Katelyn’s house. The CTK Discovery Class is a deep dive into the vision, values, and beliefs of Christ the King. Attending a Discovery Class is required to become a member of CTK, but your attendance does not mean you have to become a member. Lunch is provided and childcare is available. Please RSVP to Grace at gfarr@ctkbraselton.org if you plan to attend or if you have any questions.
SMALL GROUPS AT CTK
At CTK, we participate in 2 different types of small groups. Community Groups are mid-sized groups that are geographically based. These groups meet regularly to provide a way for new folks to meet the CTK community, to discuss the Bible, and to serve in the local community. Discipleship Groups are smaller groups, usually 5-8 people of the same gender, who meet for the purpose of following Jesus together and are a year-long commitment. These groups are focused on memorizing scripture, developing abiding practices, accountability, prayer, and learning how to share your faith. If you’d like to learn more about either of these types of groups, please email our Discipleship Directors Lorrie (lderinger@ctkbraselton.org) or Mark (mlanders@ctkbrasetlon.org).
VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
As a church plant, there are always many opportunities to volunteer at CTK. We believe that volunteering is not only a great way to serve the church, but also a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and community. Whether you are setting up chairs together, serving coffee and delights alongside a friend, or having great conversation as you rock babies in the nursery, some of the most encouraging friendships in our church have been formed as our people have served alongside each other. If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to have you! Please simply complete our Volunteer Survey so we know what you are interested in, and a staff member or ministry lead will contact you as needs arise.
